The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aron Filimon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Olariu in the 5th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Young Boys's Romeo Şunda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aron Filimon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Irinel Gioagă had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrian Honcioiu. Young Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Irinel Gioagă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. A collision led to F.C. Ripensia Primavera getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Augustin Encuțoiu hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Young Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Irinel Gioagă came free, but Adrian Honcioiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, F.C. Ripensia Primavera's Horaţiu Condrea got a free kick in the 20th minute. Aron Filimon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Olariu went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Şunda in the 26th minute of play forced F.C. Ripensia Primavera's goalkeeper Aron Filimon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Ripensia Primavera's zone, Romeo Şunda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aron Filimon came out of the goal and Romeo Şunda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aron Filimon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Şunda in the 28th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Young Boys's Romeo Şunda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aron Filimon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Emil Panaite got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Young Boys's attentive Horaţiu Gheorghiu managed to snatch the ball when Sever Dimofte made a throw-in in the 35th minute of the game. In the 40th minute Romeo Şunda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Filimon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Olariu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Filimon having to interfere. Emanuel Olariu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuel Olariu to strike the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Olariu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Emanuel Olariu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeo Şunda who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Aron Filimon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Aron Filimon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Olariu, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After a rather tough play, F.C. Ripensia Primavera's Petre Ciolacu got a free kick in the 70th minute. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Emanuel Olariu took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Aron Filimon to make any attempt to save it. Romeo Şunda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Aron Filimon made a huge save. After having played for 91 minutes, Romeo Şunda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Young Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeo Şunda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emanuel Olariu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 93rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Emil Panaite's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aron Filimon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Young Boys left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than F.C. Ripensia Primavera.
