In the 7th minute of the match Iustin Huțupan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Grigore Macarie skillfully saved the ball. Stelian Ruşdea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Traian Drăgănoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionel Cârju, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionel Cârju in the 21st minute of play forced Cernatesti's goalkeeper Traian Drăgănoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Șerban Panțuru notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cernatesti's Traian Drăgănoiu. Traian Drăgănoiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Grigore Macarie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valeriu Vătavu in the 54th minute of play. Stelian Ruşdea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Grigore Macarie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, International ACL's Grigore Macarie got control of the ball when Stelian Ruşdea tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute, Eliodor Micu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Stelian Ruşdea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ionel Cârju hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 67 played minutes International ACL got a freekick which was hit by Mihnea Jdeica. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cernatesti's goalkeeper Traian Drăgănoiu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, International ACL's Grigore Macarie got control of the ball when Stelian Ruşdea tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Iustin Huțupan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cernatesti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave International ACL the free kick. Iustin Huțupan hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. International ACL's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
