Spectators: 7507 (Terracing: 5631, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) International ACL's Ionel Cârju started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ionel Cârju received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Cazimir Toma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Șerban Panțuru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cazimir Toma having to interfere. Cazimir Toma was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ionel Cârju showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. If Horea Baniu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cazimir Toma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionel Cârju in the 15th minute of play. FC Cluj Paladins's Cazimir Toma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save FC Cluj Paladins from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute, Remus Oloieru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Șerban Panțuru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Cazimir Toma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24thth minute of the game Ionel Cârju who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Cluj Paladins's Cazimir Toma was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horea Baniu in the 29th minute of play forced International ACL's goalkeeper Grigore Macarie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Mugur Povară got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gică Păunescu hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Șerban Panțuru struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Cazimir Toma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for International ACL.

The wind increased when Horea Baniu made the kick off in the second half. Grigore Macarie was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Horea Baniu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 53 minute of play. Ionel Cârju fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cazimir Toma having to interfere. Horea Baniu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute, Șerban Panțuru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Cătălin Vaida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, International ACL's Mihnea Jdeica tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of FC Cluj Paladins booed when International ACL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristi Enigărescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, International ACL's goalkeeper Grigore Macarie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Călin Mironescu. Daniel Spoială charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Spoială the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mihnea Jdeica was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Cazimir Toma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Șerban Panțuru in the 88th minute of play. FC Cluj Paladins's Cazimir Toma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Șerban Panțuru in the 90th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Călin Mironescu got free with Grigore Macarie in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute Horea Baniu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigore Macarie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. International ACL were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC Cluj Paladins to leave the ground with a draw.
