The supporters of Ultramax1000 booed when CFR Cluj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remus Mălin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Mircea Șişman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Remus Mălin kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in CFR Cluj's zone, Eugen Chirculescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ionică Tomoioagă came out of the goal and Eugen Chirculescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 13 in the game by Eugen Chirculescu from a close distance when the talented Ionică Tomoioagă managed to make a qualified save. CFR Cluj's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Eugen Chirculescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ultramax1000's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugen Chirculescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ionică Tomoioagă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stelian Cămărășan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valer Tudose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Călin Encescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Călin Encescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stelian Cămărășan having to interfere. After a rather tough play, CFR Cluj's Valer Tudose got a free kick in the 28th minute. Ionică Tomoioagă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mircea Șişman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1-0 became the score in the 33rd minute when Eugen Chirculescu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ionică Tomoioagă was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aristide Ştiubei. If Eugen Chirculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mircea Șişman to strike the kick off in the second half. Călin Encescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Stelian Cămărășan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Ultramax1000's goalkeeper Stelian Cămărășan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Călin Encescu. CFR Cluj's Eugen Şteflea shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 61st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Stelian Cămărășan but with some difficulty. Călin Encescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Stelian Cămărășan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valer Tudose's late challenge caught a Ultramax1000's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valer Tudose helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, Valer Tudose hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gigi Aliuta hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Călin Encescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stelian Cămărășan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valer Tudose, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Călin Encescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stelian Cămărășan having to interfere. Ultramax1000's Stelian Cămărășan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valer Tudose in the 95th minute of play. The CFR Cluj players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ultramax1000 from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
