Nicolae Geoană fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilie Terzian having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Victorious's Pompiliu Rizea got a free kick in the 14th minute. Nicolae Geoană received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ilie Terzian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolae Geoană's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ilie Terzian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Sebastian Doman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Victorious getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Sebastian Doman hit a great ball. Aron Popoacă might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dinu Poplăcean. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aron Popoacă ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Victorious's Pompiliu Rizea got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The wind increased when Nicolae Geoană made the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored Victorious's protests and gave Pompiliu Rizea a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of STEAUA SIGHET booed when Victorious was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pompiliu Rizea didn't get a good kick on the ball.
