The crowd rose to their feet as Gica06's Sebastian Scutaru slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nichifor Prisecaru. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. After having played for 24 minutes, Codrin Golumbean managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Baia Mare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Codrin Golumbean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mircea Bejgăneanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nichifor Prisecaru having to interfere. Ruben Osoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codrin Golumbean in the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to Gica06 getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Irinel Bobeanu hit a great ball. With his leg Nichifor Prisecaru managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Gica06's Sebastian Scutaru fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mircea Bejgăneanu in the 39th minute of play forced FC Baia Mare's goalkeeper Nichifor Prisecaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FC Baia Mare's Nichifor Prisecaru got control of the ball when Sebastian Scutaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gica06's Ruben Osoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codrin Golumbean in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Codrin Golumbean notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Gica06's Ruben Osoro. Ruben Osoro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Codrin Golumbean made a kick off. If Sebastian Scutaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Osoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codrin Golumbean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luca Istodor was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. When Sebastian Scutaru came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Gica06 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Scutaru couldn't finish the play. Mircea Bejgăneanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Nichifor Prisecaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Baia Mare's zone, Sebastian Scutaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nichifor Prisecaru came out of the goal and Sebastian Scutaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gica06 fully deserved thier win.
