Spectators: 7526 (Terracing: 5645, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Laurențiu Șerbulescu kicked off to start the match. If Laurențiu Șerbulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Chimindia's Gabriel Tunaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save FC Chimindia from getting a goal against them. After having played for 16 minutes, Laurențiu Șerbulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red&Blue FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurențiu Șerbulescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 17 played minutes FC Chimindia got a freekick which was hit by Tudor Encuțu. Laurențiu Șerbulescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Laurențiu Șerbulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petru Izvoranu struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Gabriel Tunaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red&Blue FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Petre Fința during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Chimindia getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Petre Fința hit a great ball. Red&Blue FC's Ştefan Onciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matei Chevereșan in the 34th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matei Chevereșan to make the kick off. Petru Izvoranu struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Gabriel Tunaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red&Blue FC. The supporters of FC Chimindia booed when Red&Blue FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costică Balaci didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Niculae Ciocârlan managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Chimindia's supporters rose to their feet, but Niculae Ciocârlan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ştefan Onciu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 84 minutes, Petru Izvoranu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red&Blue FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petru Izvoranu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Laurențiu Șerbulescu came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Red&Blue FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laurențiu Șerbulescu couldn't finish the play. Petru Izvoranu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Tunaru having to interfere. The supporters of Red&Blue FC booed when FC Chimindia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tudor Encuțu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute Petru Izvoranu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Tunaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Red&Blue FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Matei Chevereșan scored to the left of an out of position Ştefan Onciu, making the score, 0-2. Matei Chevereșan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ştefan Onciu came out and tried to block the shot, but Matei Chevereșan slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 97th minute. Chants of FC Chimindia echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Red&Blue FC had held the ball for most of the match.
