Spectators: 7460 (Terracing: 5596, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Robert Antoniu took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 minutes, Nichifor Gâțea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FCM Bacau and the ACS Catenaccio players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FCM Bacau getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Nichifor Gâțea hit a great ball. After 4 played minutes, ACS Catenaccio's Panait Socoriceanu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emanuel Botescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ACS Catenaccio reached it. If Fabian Gâlcă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolae Aelenei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Gâlcă in the 8th minute of the match. In the 11th minute of the match Panait Socoriceanu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emanuel Botescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Martin Burdujan came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the ACS Catenaccio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Burdujan couldn't finish the play. Robert Antoniu struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Emanuel Botescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ACS Catenaccio. Robert Antoniu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, FCM Bacau's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Antoniu came free, but Emanuel Botescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, FCM Bacau's Pompiliu Voineag sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolae Aelenei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Augustin Olteanu struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Emanuel Botescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ACS Catenaccio. Emanuel Botescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Antoniu in the 32nd minute of the match. Augustin Olteanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Botescu having to interfere. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by FCM Bacau's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Panait Socoriceanu was slow to take the kick. During this time ACS Catenaccio's players had a chance to rest. Panait Socoriceanu made a great header on ACS Catenaccio's corner, it was just that FCM Bacau's Emanuel Botescu managed to reach the ball for a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabian Gâlcă to strike the kick off in the second half. Augustin Olteanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Emanuel Botescu made a huge save. In the 54th minute, Augustin Olteanu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Emanuel Botescu, passed just outside the right post. After 56 played minutes FCM Bacau got a freekick which was hit by Codrin Ştefănică. Robert Antoniu had several of the FCM Bacau's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 58 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Emanuel Botescu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Emanuel Botescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Antoniu in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FCM Bacau's zone, Robert Antoniu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Botescu came out of the goal and Robert Antoniu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pompiliu Voineag recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolae Aelenei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Gâlcă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Gâlcă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute Fabian Gâlcă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolae Aelenei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Antoniu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to ACS Catenaccio getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Martin Burdujan hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ACS Catenaccio had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
