The supporters of Reschitza booed when Moş Gerilă was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodor Buhăescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th match minute, Reschitza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niculae Rădoi to maneuver through the defense. In the 14thth minute of the game Stelian Bocaneț who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moş Gerilă's Eusebiu Rogozea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eusebiu Rogozea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stelian Bocaneț's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. A collision led to Moş Gerilă getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Teodor Buhăescu hit a great ball. Sorin Şoltuz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niculae Rădoi's late challenge caught a Moş Gerilă's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niculae Rădoi helped the player get up and apologised. Niculae Rădoi kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Stelian Bocaneț recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodor Buhăescu hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Sorin Şoltuz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Eusebiu Rogozea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ionel Sandu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marin Urdeş having to interfere. In the 37thth minute of the game Stelian Bocaneț who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moş Gerilă's Eusebiu Rogozea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Vali Ţeica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reschitza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vali Ţeica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 52nd minute, Iosif Răduleț left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moş Gerilă fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 58th minute, Vali Ţeica got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Stelian Bocaneț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the game, Teodor Buhăescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moş Gerilă's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reschitza the free kick. With a little luck, Moş Gerilă's Eusebiu Rogozea got control of the ball when Stelian Bocaneț tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stelian Bocaneț didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-1 via right post in the game's 63rd minute. Reschitza's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After a rather tough play, Moş Gerilă's Ivan Tănase got a free kick in the 69th minute. Vali Ţeica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72ndth minute of the game Stelian Bocaneț who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moş Gerilă's Eusebiu Rogozea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vali Ţeica struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Eusebiu Rogozea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reschitza. Stelian Bocaneț had several of the Moş Gerilă's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 77 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Eusebiu Rogozea as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 80 played minutes Reschitza got a freekick which was hit by Dacian Milcoveanu. In the 82nd minute, Moş Gerilă's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vali Ţeica fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 84th minute, Teodor Buhăescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moş Gerilă fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Stelian Bocaneț blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eusebiu Rogozea having to make a save. When Stelian Bocaneț in the 89th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Eusebiu Rogozea kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Stelian Bocaneț who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Eusebiu Rogozea when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
