Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gabriel Petran got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute Gabriel Petran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudiu Encica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corneliu Rusu scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petre Onitiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Petre Onitiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneliu Rusu in the 16th minute of play. After 18 minutes, Eliodor Aelenei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ofsenita CSS and the Osoiu AS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Eliodor Aelenei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute Gabriel Petran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudiu Encica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Petran might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudiu Encica. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Petran ran back to his position shaking his head. Osoiu AS's Claudiu Encica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Petran in the 26th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Eliodor Aelenei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Narcis Bogrea struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Petre Onitiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Osoiu AS. Vasile Proca's late challenge caught a Ofsenita CSS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vasile Proca helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th minute, Vasile Proca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Claudiu Encica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliodor Aelenei, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Petran in the 57th minute of play forced Osoiu AS's goalkeeper Claudiu Encica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 minutes, Dorin Pașcalău mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Osoiu AS and the Ofsenita CSS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Osoiu AS! Claudiu Encica had in the 64thth minute some difficulties stopping Iordache Simionaş's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Ofsenita CSS's goalkeeper Petre Onitiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narcis Bogrea. Petre Onitiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ioan Măliță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Călin Butuc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudiu Encica came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ofsenita CSS's Eliodor Aelenei. But to his dismay, Eliodor Aelenei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Narcis Bogrea hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 98th minute of the match Iordache Simionaş shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudiu Encica showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
