Lucrețiu Sântimbrean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Pârcălab in the 41st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romeo Bara in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucrețiu Sântimbrean prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Codruț Gligan made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Olimpiu Geangu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. metalul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luhei AS the free kick. Romeo Bara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucrețiu Sântimbrean read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Romeo Bara had several of the metalul's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 82 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-5 score and a disappointed Lucrețiu Sântimbrean as he didn't even see the shot coming. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Lucrețiu Sântimbrean successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dan Pârcălab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Lucrețiu Sântimbrean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Pârcălab struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Lucrețiu Sântimbrean didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luhei AS. When the final whistle sounded Luhei AS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than metalul.
