Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rareș Mureșan started the match with the kick off. Ernest Mateianu in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Felix Angheluță, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Argintari CSM getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Eduard Conta hit a great ball. After 8 minutes, Octavian Isăcescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Argintari CSM and the Oltul Slatina players grew even worse after the yellow card. Octavian Isăcescu kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Daniel Maftei, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Oltul Slatina's goalkeeper Felix Angheluță had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernest Mateianu. Ernest Mateianu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vali Dragotescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alex Brad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Angheluță having to interfere. If Ernest Mateianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Argintari CSM's Alex Brad ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Felix Angheluță. Felix Angheluță yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 47th minute, Ernest Mateianu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 56th minute, Vali Dragotescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oltul Slatina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 61 played minutes Oltul Slatina got a freekick which was hit by Laurențiu Bălașa. After 63 played minutes Oltul Slatina got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Mortu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rareș Mureșan in the 68th minute of play forced Argintari CSM's goalkeeper Maxim Zdrăilă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vali Dragotescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oltul Slatina's Rareș Mureșan got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maxim Zdrăilă made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Vali Dragotescu sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Rareș Mureșan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oltul Slatina's supporters rose to their feet, but Rareș Mureșan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxim Zdrăilă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the match, Oltul Slatina's Vali Dragotescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maxim Zdrăilă narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Vali Dragotescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Brad struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Felix Angheluță didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argintari CSM. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Ernest Mateianu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Argintari CSM's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernest Mateianu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Angheluță breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alex Brad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Felix Angheluță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
