After a defensive mix-up in I.S.C.T's zone, Virgil Văcaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marian Lunca came out of the goal and Virgil Văcaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rareș Mureșan in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marian Lunca saved I.S.C.T from getting behind. Ionel Voican received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Felix Angheluță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Angheluță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichifor Rotariu in the 32nd minute of the match. With his leg Felix Angheluță managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when I.S.C.T's Ionel Voican fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rareș Mureșan in the 57th minute of play forced I.S.C.T's goalkeeper Marian Lunca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristinel Zbârlea during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The I.S.C.T fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Oltul Slatina were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
