The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Octavian Isăcescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 4 minutes into the match, Rareș Mardarescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marian Lunca. I.S.C.T's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rareș Mardarescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 8 minutes, Nichifor Rotariu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the I.S.C.T and the Argintari CSM players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute of the match Nechifor Bădiță shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marian Lunca showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nichifor Rotariu hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Gavril Oroian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marian Lunca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Mirciulescu in the 17th minute of play. In the 17th minute Octavian Isăcescu suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 19th match minute, I.S.C.T was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nichifor Rotariu to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes Argintari CSM got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Conta. In the 27th minute Emanuel Mirciulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Lunca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marian Lunca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Brad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Emanuel Mirciulescu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of I.S.C.T's Marian Lunca. Marian Lunca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, I.S.C.T's Ionică Pădure got a free kick in the 36th minute. Rareș Mardarescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eduard Conta's late challenge caught a I.S.C.T's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduard Conta helped the player get up and apologised. Eduard Conta hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. If Ernest Mateianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernest Mateianu to strike the kick off in the second half. Marian Lunca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernest Mateianu in the 52nd minute. After 54 minutes, Horaţiu Bociort mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the I.S.C.T and the Argintari CSM players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to I.S.C.T getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Horaţiu Bociort hit a great ball. Gavril Oroian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxim Zdrăilă having to interfere. I.S.C.T's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Emanuel Mirciulescu scored to the left of an out of position Marian Lunca, making the score, 0-3. 70 minutes into the match, I.S.C.T's goalkeeper Marian Lunca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernest Mateianu. Marian Lunca made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Emanuel Mirciulescu sent off a good shot on target. Ernest Mateianu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. I.S.C.T's Marian Lunca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save I.S.C.T from getting a goal against them. Marian Lunca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Brad, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. When Emanuel Mirciulescu fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Argintari CSM's protests and gave Emanuel Mirciulescu a yellow card for diving instead. Emanuel Mirciulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. I.S.C.T's Marian Lunca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Brad in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Horaţiu Bociort hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. I.S.C.T's Marian Lunca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save I.S.C.T from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute, Ernest Mateianu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marian Lunca was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Ernest Mateianu struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Marian Lunca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argintari CSM. The supporters of I.S.C.T booed when Argintari CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Brad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Argintari CSM's Emanuel Mirciulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Argintari CSM left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than I.S.C.T.
