Valentin Gorcea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Pânzaru in the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Eduard Pânzaru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valentin Gorcea. Gergelygeza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduard Pânzaru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gergelygeza's goalkeeper Valentin Gorcea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Sepsi OSK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Arngils Margrímsson hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Eduard Pânzaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eduard Pânzaru succeeded in the game's 42nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-8. Aron Cucu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valentin Gorcea having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adam Reznic made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Eduard Pânzaru notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Gergelygeza's Valentin Gorcea. Valentin Gorcea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 59 minutes into the game, Iacob Dabija cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Valentin Gorcea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was Iacob Dabija who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Marcel Obregia got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-12. 80 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Sepsi OSK's Valentin Gorcea threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iacob Dabija, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Valentin Gorcea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduard Pânzaru in the 85th minute. After 88 played minutes Sepsi OSK got a freekick which was hit by Cristi Ielciu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduard Pânzaru got free with Valentin Gorcea in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Sepsi OSK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gergelygeza throughout the match.
