Spectators: 7705 (Terracing: 5780, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) Gergelygeza's Adam Reznic started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 2 minutes, Valeriu Anastasiu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Valentin Gorcea to make any attempt to save it. In the 11th minute, Lucrețiu Meleșcanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valentin Gorcea was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 16 minutes into the match, UFC Piluganii's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Reznic came free, but Ionel Maghear reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucrețiu Meleșcanu got free with Valentin Gorcea in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Gergelygeza's Alex Moți got a free kick in the 21st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gergelygeza's zone, Lucrețiu Meleșcanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Gorcea came out of the goal and Lucrețiu Meleșcanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valentin Gorcea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valeriu Anastasiu in the 30th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Alex Moți hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gergelygeza's Valentin Gorcea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeriu Anastasiu in the 39th minute of play. Lucrețiu Meleșcanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Gorcea having to interfere. When Cosmin Mihăileanu fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gergelygeza's protests and gave Cosmin Mihăileanu a yellow card for diving instead. Cosmin Mihăileanu kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Lucrețiu Meleșcanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Valentin Gorcea made a huge save.

The wind increased when Lucrețiu Meleșcanu made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Gergelygeza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nistor Tudorache to maneuver through the defense. UFC Piluganii's Ionel Maghear played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionel Pantilimon in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to UFC Piluganii getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Valeriu Anastasiu hit a great ball. Lucrețiu Meleșcanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Gorcea having to interfere. UFC Piluganii's Lucrețiu Meleșcanu got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nistor Tudorache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionel Maghear having to interfere. After 70 minutes, Valer Buhăescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UFC Piluganii and the Gergelygeza players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, UFC Piluganii's Valer Buhăescu got a free kick in the 70th minute. The supporters of UFC Piluganii booed when Gergelygeza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Barbă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Gorcea came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by UFC Piluganii's Lucrețiu Meleșcanu. But to his dismay, Lucrețiu Meleșcanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 89 minutes into the game, when Cosmin Mihăileanu put in a rough tackle. In the 88th minute, one of Gergelygeza:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gergelygeza. Valeriu Anastasiu shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After 92 minutes, Valeriu Mălin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gergelygeza and the UFC Piluganii players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valeriu Mălin kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Bogdan Barbă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Ionel Maghear made a huge save. After having played for 97 minutes, Valeriu Anastasiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UFC Piluganii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valeriu Anastasiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the UFC Piluganii players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
