In the 8th minute Claudiu Popescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Baniciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ovidiu Lucaci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the game, Ovidiu Lucaci cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Emil Baniciu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ovidiu Lucaci in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Baniciu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the game, Ovidiu Lucaci cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Emil Baniciu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emil Baniciu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudiu Popescu's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Sergiu Bobeica kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robert Pașcalău during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 38 minutes into the match, Ovidiu Lucaci notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Zlasteni FCM's Emil Baniciu. Emil Baniciu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 43 minutes of play, Stoicii's Ovidiu Lucaci made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emil Baniciu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Stoicii were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cezar Bacanu to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Zlasteni FCM's zone, Claudiu Popescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Baniciu came out of the goal and Claudiu Popescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, Claudiu Popescu made a precise shot to the right of Emil Baniciu. Zlasteni FCM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Ovidiu Lucaci didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-9 via right post in the game's 64th minute. Stoicii's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Claudiu Popescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Emil Baniciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Emil Baniciu managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Stoicii's Ovidiu Lucaci fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Ovidiu Lucaci's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Baniciu was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Stoicii's Claudiu Popescu got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The nice shot from Ovidiu Lucaci in the 82ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Emil Baniciu had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 83 minutes in the game, Ovidiu Lucaci dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Ovidiu Lucaci in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emil Baniciu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 87th match minute, Zlasteni FCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergiu Bobeica to maneuver through the defense. When Claudiu Popescu came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Stoicii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudiu Popescu couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the match, Ştefan Budac notched a goal, 1-10, to the right of Stoicii's Mihăiţă Mirciulescu. Mihăiţă Mirciulescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 94 minutes into the match, Zlasteni FCM's goal looked a bit too open when Claudiu Popescu came free, but Emil Baniciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stoicii played a much better game than Zlasteni FCM and deserved their victory. The Zlasteni FCM players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
