Mihăiţă Mirciulescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mugur Nițulescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ovidiu Lucaci in the 10th minute. After 12 minutes, Lucrețiu Moisil made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Stoicii's Mihăiţă Mirciulescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the game, AC Vulcano's Diderik Rooy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucrețiu Moisil to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes AC Vulcano got a freekick which was hit by Cristi Pomuț. The audience was convinced that Claudiu Popescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mugur Nițulescu was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. 55 minutes into the match, Diderik Rooy notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Stoicii's Mihăiţă Mirciulescu. In the 82nd minute, Lucrețiu Moisil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mihăiţă Mirciulescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. After having played for 85 minutes, Octavian Olbrechts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Vulcano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octavian Olbrechts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Constantin Cângea could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Mihăiţă Mirciulescu however easily saved by the left post. 96 minutes into the match, Stoicii's goal looked a bit too open when Octavian Olbrechts came free, but Mihăiţă Mirciulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AC Vulcano's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
