Spectators: 7756 (Terracing: 5819, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 154) UFC Piluganii's Lucrețiu Meleșcanu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ionel Maghear showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduard Pânzaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute Sepsi OSK were awarded a corner. Eduard Pânzaru went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 13th minute, Lucrețiu Meleșcanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UFC Piluganii fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Valeriu Anastasiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Cristi Budișteanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristinel Ceaușu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucrețiu Meleșcanu kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Eduard Pânzaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ionel Maghear was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Pânzaru in the 28th minute of play forced UFC Piluganii's goalkeeper Ionel Maghear to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. UFC Piluganii's Ionel Maghear played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Pânzaru in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, UFC Piluganii's Valer Buhăescu got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Ionel Maghear took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panait Botescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Valer Buhăescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Iacob Dabija made the kick off in the second half. Valer Buhăescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sepsi OSK's Cristi Budișteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucrețiu Meleșcanu in the 56th minute of play. Cristi Budișteanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucrețiu Meleșcanu went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. If Lucrețiu Meleșcanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. UFC Piluganii's Ionel Maghear played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iacob Dabija in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeriu Anastasiu in the 65th minute of play forced Sepsi OSK's goalkeeper Cristi Budișteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Lucrețiu Meleșcanu notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Sepsi OSK's Cristi Budișteanu. Cristi Budișteanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valer Buhăescu charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valer Buhăescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 played minutes UFC Piluganii got a freekick which was hit by Valer Buhăescu. 81 minutes into the game, UFC Piluganii's Valeriu Anastasiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristi Budișteanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Eduard Pânzaru took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ionel Maghear. Ionel Maghear dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. UFC Piluganii's Lucrețiu Meleșcanu got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 95 played minutes Sepsi OSK got a freekick which was hit by Octavian Bacanu. There was no doubt that UFC Piluganii were the better team. UFC Piluganii's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
