Zlasteni FCM's supporters rose to their feet, but Cezar Bacanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Chiose breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ripa UFC's Emanuel Chiose played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezar Bacanu in the 18th minute of play. Emanuel Chiose showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Budac in the 20th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Zlasteni FCM's zone, Petruț Tătăruşanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Baniciu came out of the goal and Petruț Tătăruşanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basarab Panțâru struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Emil Baniciu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ripa UFC. Cezar Bacanu kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Basarab Panțâru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Petruț Tătăruşanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emil Baniciu having to make a save. Ripa UFC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Zlasteni FCM to leave the ground with a draw.
