Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The supporters of Unirea BFF booed when Gergelygeza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Reznic didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Ioan Pârlea made a precise shot to the right of Valentin Gorcea. Gergelygeza's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Unirea BFF's zone, Bogdan Barbă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mugur Chificeac came out of the goal and Bogdan Barbă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Gergelygeza's Adam Reznic sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mugur Chificeac narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Valentin Gorcea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Mihăilescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ioan Pârlea got free with Valentin Gorcea in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the match, Gergelygeza's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Mihăilescu came free, but Valentin Gorcea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Gergelygeza's Valentin Gorcea got control of the ball when Ioan Pârlea tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gigel Carp during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gigel Carp hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Unirea BFF's Gheorghe Mihăilescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valentin Gorcea. That made the score 2-1 after 37 minutes of play. Vlad Dărăscu hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Valentin Gorcea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ioan Pârlea in the 46th minute. Ioan Pârlea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Valentin Gorcea made a huge save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adam Reznic to strike the kick off in the second half. Gheorghe Mihăilescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gheorghe Mihăilescu in the 55th minute of play forced Gergelygeza's goalkeeper Valentin Gorcea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Corlățean might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valentin Gorcea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gergelygeza's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Gergelygeza's Valentin Gorcea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gheorghe Mihăilescu in the 84th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Ioan Pârlea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valentin Gorcea. Gergelygeza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ioan Pârlea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 92nd minute, Gheorghe Mihăilescu made a precise shot to the right of Valentin Gorcea. Gergelygeza's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Mugur Chificeac stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adam Reznic's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gergelygeza players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Unirea BFF.
