Momolesti's Nicodim Erbașu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Momolesti from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Momolesti's Nicodim Erbașu got control of the ball when Paul Bernea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paul Bernea came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nicodim Erbașu could save by the left post. When Mihai Enache fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Momolesti's protests and gave Mihai Enache a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Momolesti getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Mihai Enache hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Paul Bernea notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Momolesti's Nicodim Erbașu. Nicodim Erbașu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paul Bernea let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 23rd minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. In the 27thth minute of the game Ovidiu Petrean who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Momolesti's Nicodim Erbașu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicodim Erbașu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferdinand Toacsen in the 29th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Nicodim Erbașu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Paul Bernea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Nicodim Erbașu made a huge save. After 41 minutes of play, FC UNIREA's Paul Bernea made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicodim Erbașu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paul Bernea's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nicodim Erbașu firmly grabbed it by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mihai Enache stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paul Bernea in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicodim Erbașu saved Momolesti from getting behind. Nicodim Erbașu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Toacsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Momolesti's Nicodim Erbașu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Toacsen in the 60th minute of play. Nicodim Erbașu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Bernea, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Momolesti's Nicodim Erbașu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidiu Petrean in the 63rd minute of play. The Momolesti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicodim Erbașu should have stopped the shot. Paul Bernea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicodim Erbașu having to interfere. Nicodim Erbașu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. 85 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Toacsen notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Momolesti's Nicodim Erbașu. Nicodim Erbașu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th minute, Paul Bernea made a precise shot to the right of Nicodim Erbașu. Momolesti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. FC UNIREA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
