Spectators: 7703 (Terracing: 5779, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leontin Vărzaru kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Costică Berbec managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. APULUM's supporters rose to their feet, but Costică Berbec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusebiu Chiriac breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gloria Bistrita's Eusebiu Chiriac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugurel Amuguroancei in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leontin Vărzaru in the 6th minute of play forced F.C. APULUM's goalkeeper Ionică Burtea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the F.C. APULUM defense, Sorin Chiriloaie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ionică Burtea. The F.C. APULUM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ionică Burtea should have stopped the shot. After 16 minutes, Leontin Vărzaru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gloria Bistrita and the F.C. APULUM players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th minute, Leontin Vărzaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gloria Bistrita's Eusebiu Chiriac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tudor Panin in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, F.C. APULUM's Marian Hidișan got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 20 played minutes Gloria Bistrita got a freekick which was hit by Anton Agrigoroaiei. In the 25th minute, F.C. APULUM's Mugurel Amuguroancei dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. With a little luck, Gloria Bistrita's Eusebiu Chiriac got control of the ball when Felix Simionaş tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sorin Chiriloaie kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Eusebiu Chiriac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugurel Amuguroancei in the 33rd minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Gloria Bistrita's goalkeeper Eusebiu Chiriac had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliodor Popilean. Eusebiu Chiriac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugurel Amuguroancei in the 40th minute of the match. Felix Simionaş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Eusebiu Chiriac made a huge save. Gloria Bistrita's Eusebiu Chiriac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugurel Amuguroancei in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Tudor Panin made the kick off in the second half. Eusebiu Chiriac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugurel Amuguroancei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, F.C. APULUM's Valeriu Jitaru got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 69th minute, Mugurel Amuguroancei made a precise shot to the right of Eusebiu Chiriac. Gloria Bistrita's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 77th minute there was a penalty for F.C. APULUM. Valeriu Jitaru stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eusebiu Chiriac. 5-1. 97 minutes into the game, Alexandru Buhuș was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. APULUM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gloria Bistrita the free kick. A collision led to F.C. APULUM getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Alexandru Buhuș hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. F.C. APULUM had played much better football throughout.
