Virgil Rebengiuc had several of the Varsand's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 10 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Marin Stoicu as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Virgil Rebengiuc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucian Posteucă in the 26th minute of play forced JUNIOR 2012's goalkeeper Leontin Corbea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cazimir Gârneață's late challenge caught a Varsand's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cazimir Gârneață helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, JUNIOR 2012 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cazimir Gârneață to maneuver through the defense. Marin Stoicu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 34th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. When Cazimir Gârneață came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the JUNIOR 2012 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cazimir Gârneață couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Varsand's zone, Virgil Rebengiuc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marin Stoicu came out of the goal and Virgil Rebengiuc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alex Bîlbă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Varsand's Marin Stoicu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgil Rebengiuc in the 51st minute of play. Leontin Corbea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosmin Nenițescu in the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Bîlbă in the 54th minute of play forced Varsand's goalkeeper Marin Stoicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Valentin Plopeanu threw the ball into play from the sideline. JUNIOR 2012's Vintilă Mirciulescu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to JUNIOR 2012 getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Virgil Rebengiuc hit a great ball. The supporters of Varsand booed when JUNIOR 2012 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cazimir Gârneață didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucian Posteucă got free with Leontin Corbea in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Cosmin Nenițescu put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Leontin Corbea. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Virgil Rebengiuc put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marin Stoicu. Cazimir Gârneață fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marin Stoicu having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, JUNIOR 2012's Virgil Rebengiuc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marin Stoicu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. A sloppy throw-in by Valentin Plopeanu in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by JUNIOR 2012's Vintilă Mirciulescu. After 89 minutes, Cazimir Gârneață made it 8-1 with a short kick to the right side. Varsand's Marin Stoicu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cazimir Gârneață recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that JUNIOR 2012 were the better team. JUNIOR 2012's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
