Ştefan Zăhărescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Jușcă in the 4th minute of play. Ştefan Zăhărescu came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Chisinau CC's George Mihăescu. But to his dismay, George Mihăescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 9 minutes of play, Dodocani UFC's Florian Tyskie made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Dăianu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Grigore Dicu hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Albert Stelaru received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ştefan Zăhărescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Albert Stelaru slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 12th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Costin Cămărășan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Dăianu. Chisinau CC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Costin Cămărășan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. When Napoleon Gerlach came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Dodocani UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Napoleon Gerlach couldn't finish the play. Napoleon Gerlach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ivan Dăianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 31 minutes, Napoleon Gerlach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dodocani UFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Napoleon Gerlach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Napoleon Gerlach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Napoleon Gerlach in the 42nd minute of play forced Chisinau CC's goalkeeper Ivan Dăianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costin Cămărășan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Dăianu having to interfere. Ivan Dăianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Napoleon Gerlach, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florian Tyskie was the one to do the kick off. George Mihăescu struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Ştefan Zăhărescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chisinau CC. With a little luck, Chisinau CC's Ivan Dăianu got control of the ball when Napoleon Gerlach tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Chisinau CC defense, Napoleon Gerlach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Dăianu. The Chisinau CC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Dăianu should have stopped the shot. Napoleon Gerlach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Dăianu having to interfere. After 62 minutes of play, Dodocani UFC's Napoleon Gerlach made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Dăianu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 67th minute, Florian Tyskie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute, Napoleon Gerlach made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Dăianu. Chisinau CC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-6. A hard shot by Nicu Mitrofan from long distance, 73 minutes into the match, got Ivan Dăianu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ivan Dăianu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Napoleon Gerlach in the 75th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florian Tyskie in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Dăianu saved Chisinau CC from getting behind. Emanuel Jușcă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emil Constantiniu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ştefan Zăhărescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If George Mihăescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Dodocani UFC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Gabriel Alupoaie hit a great ball. Florian Tyskie struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ivan Dăianu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dodocani UFC. Dodocani UFC's Napoleon Gerlach got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ştefan Zăhărescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Jușcă in the 90th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Chisinau CC's zone, Napoleon Gerlach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Dăianu came out of the goal and Napoleon Gerlach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute, Florian Tyskie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dodocani UFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-7. The Chisinau CC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dodocani UFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
