FC Bandydos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filippos Stathopoulos ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Andrei Crăcană almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Bandydos's Ahmet Sedat Sanih did a great save. Ahmet Sedat Sanih took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Gugulanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Eurico Trigueiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. MZ Rapid's supporters rose to their feet, but Eurico Trigueiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Sedat Sanih breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filippos Stathopoulos in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Sedat Sanih saved FC Bandydos from getting behind. FC Bandydos's Ahmet Sedat Sanih played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippos Stathopoulos in the 17th minute of play. In the last second Ahmet Sedat Sanih throw himself and got hold of the ball when Filippos Stathopoulos in the 18thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 19th minute Alin Liviu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigore Eftimescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Alin Liviu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Grigore Eftimescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 33rd minute Filippos Stathopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Sedat Sanih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 played minutes FC Bandydos got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Cioacă. In the 42nd minute of the match Filippos Stathopoulos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Sedat Sanih skillfully saved the ball. Alin Liviu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grigore Eftimescu having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, MZ Rapid's goal looked a bit too open when Alin Liviu came free, but Grigore Eftimescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to MZ Rapid getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Eurico Trigueiro hit a great ball. Adrian Gugulanu scored 1-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Sedat Sanih, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Filiberto Paz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmet Sedat Sanih having to make a save. After a rather tough play, MZ Rapid's Eurico Trigueiro got a free kick in the 75th minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Eddy Terajinda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Bandydos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eddy Terajinda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Bandydos's Radomil Lichniak was substituted for Adrian Cioacă. Grigore Eftimescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alin Liviu, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. MZ Rapid's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Alin Liviu scored to the left of an out of position Grigore Eftimescu, making the score, 1-3. The FC Bandydos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
