Manole Romoşan struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Niculae Ţintă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Albotesti. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tym Tym's goalkeeper Niculae Ţintă, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th minute, one of Albotesti:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Albotesti. After having played for 28 minutes, Luca Dragușin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tym Tym's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Dragușin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Albotesti's Marian Curuțiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Albotesti from getting a goal against them. Manole Romoşan might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niculae Ţintă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manole Romoşan ran back to his position shaking his head. Luca Dragușin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Marian Curuțiu made a huge save. 37 minutes into the match, Aron Baldu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marian Curuțiu, 3-0. Niculae Ţintă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manole Romoşan in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Silviu Nedelciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narcis Domide could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Marian Curuțiu made a huge save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manole Romoşan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Albotesti's Marian Curuțiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Baldu in the 70th minute of play. Marian Curuțiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narcis Domide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Manole Romoşan made a precise shot to the right of Niculae Ţintă. Tym Tym's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. 77 minutes into the game, Silviu Nedelciu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Albotesti were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
