Spectators: 6525 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 25) Petre Stoicănescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC Super Fortuna's zone, Petre Stoicănescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narcis Pantelimon came out of the goal and Petre Stoicănescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiberiu Dedu made in the 11th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Virgil Teodoroiu. Virgil Teodoroiu scored 1-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Liviu Gâgea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dacian Drâmbă kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Albin Frisk managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Super Fortuna's supporters rose to their feet, but Albin Frisk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Liviu Gâgea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Sabin Măcriș took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Narcis Pantelimon to make any attempt to save it. 29 minutes into the match, Samsud's goal looked a bit too open when Virgil Teodoroiu came free, but Liviu Gâgea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petre Stoicănescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Narcis Pantelimon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihăiţă Olaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Narcis Pantelimon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Liviu Gâgea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Frisk in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Sabin Măcriș made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sabin Măcriș in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narcis Pantelimon saved FC Super Fortuna from getting behind. Samsud's Liviu Gâgea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Samsud from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petre Stoicănescu in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narcis Pantelimon saved FC Super Fortuna from getting behind. In the 69th minute, one of FC Super Fortuna:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Super Fortuna. Narcis Pantelimon had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Petre Stoicănescu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Samsud's Petre Stoicănescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Narcis Pantelimon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Mugur Martin's late challenge caught a Samsud's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mugur Martin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, FC Super Fortuna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugur Martin to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Samsud booed when FC Super Fortuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Frisk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petre Stoicănescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Narcis Pantelimon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petre Stoicănescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Narcis Pantelimon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petre Stoicănescu in the 91st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sabin Măcriș in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narcis Pantelimon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th match minute, FC Super Fortuna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurel Tofan to maneuver through the defense. After 96 minutes of play FC Super Fortuna's Mugur Martin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Mugur Martin kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Samsud fully deserved thier win.
