Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Irinel Staicu made the kick off and thus started the match. Ionică Iureș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Oravițan having to interfere. Narcis Pantelimon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Grozuță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damian Rădescu charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damian Rădescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Licuriciu getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Damian Rădescu hit a great ball. Licuriciu's Horaţiu Oravițan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgil Teodoroiu in the 11th minute of play. Horaţiu Oravițan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgil Teodoroiu in the 12th minute of play. Irinel Staicu scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Narcis Pantelimon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 2-0 became the score in the 23rd minute when Irinel Staicu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 28thth minute of the game Irinel Staicu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Super Fortuna's Narcis Pantelimon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Irinel Staicu kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 31stth minute. Though ot was a great shot FC Super Fortuna's keeper Narcis Pantelimon was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. It was a well-played corner which Gheorghe Câmpeanu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Emilian Agachi hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 36th match minute, FC Super Fortuna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Frisk to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Super Fortuna's goalkeeper Narcis Pantelimon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgil Teodoroiu was the one to do the kick off. A beautiful save bye FC Super Fortuna's goalie prevented a goal. FC Super Fortuna's Mugur Martin got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Virgil Teodoroiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Super Fortuna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. FC Super Fortuna's Albin Frisk got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Virgil Teodoroiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horaţiu Oravițan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Licuriciu fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Super Fortuna had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
