Spectators: 7670 (Terracing: 5755, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Irinel Staicu took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Irinel Staicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Uliesul's Eliodor Balaban got a free kick in the 4th minute. Uliesul's Fábio Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irinel Staicu in the 7th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Eliodor Balaban was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uliesul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Licuriciu the free kick. In the 7th match minute, Uliesul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliodor Balaban to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Irinel Staicu in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fábio Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fábio Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Ghiondea in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Claudiu Purcărete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Vaios Anagnostakis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Licuriciu's Horaţiu Oravițan didn't even have to move. Licuriciu's Irinel Staicu got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Irinel Staicu might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fábio Veiga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Irinel Staicu ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Irinel Staicu in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fábio Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rdth minute of the game Irinel Staicu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uliesul's Fábio Veiga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th match minute, Licuriciu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Rădescu to maneuver through the defense. When Licuriciu's Irinel Staicu in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uliesul's goalie prevented a goal. Fábio Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Ghiondea, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. If Eugen Grozuță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliodor Balaban was shown his second yellow card after 42 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Uliesul's Eliodor Balaban got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Irinel Staicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Uliesul players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Licuriciu were winning 0-1.

In the 51st minute, Damian Rădescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 53 in the game by Irinel Staicu from a close distance when the talented Fábio Veiga managed to make a qualified save. Uliesul's players were relieved. With a little luck, Uliesul's Fábio Veiga got control of the ball when Irinel Staicu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fábio Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Grozuță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 played minutes Uliesul got a freekick which was hit by Vaios Anagnostakis. The supporters of Uliesul booed when Licuriciu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Ghiondea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Irinel Staicu's late challenge caught a Uliesul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Irinel Staicu helped the player get up and apologised. Irinel Staicu kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damian Rădescu during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Uliesul booed when Licuriciu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Rădescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Vaios Anagnostakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eugen Grozuță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Irinel Staicu in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fábio Veiga saved Uliesul from getting behind. 80 minutes into the match, Uliesul's goalkeeper Fábio Veiga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentin Ghiondea. When Nicolae Şania fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uliesul's protests and gave Nicolae Şania a yellow card for diving instead. Nicolae Şania kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Fábio Veiga came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Licuriciu's Eugen Grozuță. But to his dismay, Eugen Grozuță quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Gheorghe Câmpeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Licuriciu's supporters rose to their feet, but Gheorghe Câmpeanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fábio Veiga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
