Delta Tulcea's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Nae Hârțan scored to the left of an out of position Aristide Alexiu, making the score, 2-0. Leo Doro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Aristide Alexiu made a huge save. Aristide Alexiu was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Nae Hârțan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nae Hârțan really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The supporters of CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA booed when Delta Tulcea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costin Paulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Nae Hârțan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. 75 minutes into the game, Leo Doro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 8-2 when Nae Hârțan sped through Delta Tulcea's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aristide Alexiu. After some careless play in the Delta Tulcea defense, Leo Doro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aristide Alexiu. The Delta Tulcea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aristide Alexiu should have stopped the shot. 95 minutes into the game, CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA's Leo Doro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aristide Alexiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-2. There was no doubt that CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA were the better team. CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
