Cornel Axinia charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornel Axinia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Samsud booed when GSBC Cluj-Napoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornel Axinia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Liviu Gâgea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calistrat Stănciulaş in the 85th minute of the match.
