After 12 played minutes Corbeanca got a freekick which was hit by Petrică Vlădean. In the 15th minute, Gigel Vişan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Irinel Beniuc was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Corbeanca's goalkeeper Irinel Beniuc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marian Humă might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Irinel Beniuc. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliodor Jula in the 30th minute of play forced Blitz Construct's goalkeeper Mugur Grecea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mugur Grecea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliodor Jula, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Eliodor Jula had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mugur Grecea. Blitz Construct's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliodor Jula was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Blitz Construct's Mugur Grecea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliodor Jula in the 37th minute of play. When Vintilă Mustăcilă came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Corbeanca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vintilă Mustăcilă couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vintilă Mustăcilă to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vintilă Mustăcilă in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mugur Grecea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Blitz Construct getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Marcu Deliman hit a great ball. Gigel Vişan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irinel Beniuc having to interfere. Mugur Grecea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vintilă Mustăcilă, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute, Vintilă Mustăcilă reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mugur Grecea. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 69th match minute, Blitz Construct was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolae Horia to maneuver through the defense. If Gigel Vişan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Corbeanca's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Vişan came free, but Irinel Beniuc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Corbeanca eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
