Spectators: 7729 (Terracing: 5798, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) Venezia FC's Basarab Ceaușu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Basarab Ceaușu put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cristinel Berbec. The audience was convinced that Basarab Ceaușu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristinel Berbec was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, -PSC- Craguis's Liviu Frățilă got a free kick in the 16th minute. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Basarab Ceaușu sped through -PSC- Craguis's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristinel Berbec. Cristinel Berbec didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from George Pacuraru went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 31 minutes into the match, Basarab Ceaușu notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of -PSC- Craguis's Cristinel Berbec. Cristinel Berbec was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th match minute, Venezia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valer Bornescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute Basarab Ceaușu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristinel Berbec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vintilă Stroiescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored Venezia FC's protests and gave George Pacuraru a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th match minute, Venezia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Pacuraru to maneuver through the defense.
