Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Costin Fundătoreanu started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes of play, ⚽Babaciunile ⚽'s Eugen Romeo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Liviu Boboc was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 6th minute Dan Boieraș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liviu Boboc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sever Romaşcanu in the 10th minute of play forced Catalu's goalkeeper Liviu Boboc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Dan Boieraș made a precise shot to the right of Liviu Boboc. Catalu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Dan Boieraș blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Liviu Boboc having to make a save. After having played for 30 minutes, Dan Boieraș managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ⚽Babaciunile ⚽'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Boieraș was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dan Boieraș scored 0-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Liviu Boboc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tiberiu Valeca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Stoicănescu having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Grigore Prunaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. ⚽Babaciunile ⚽'s supporters rose to their feet, but Grigore Prunaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Liviu Boboc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute Eugen Romeo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liviu Boboc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th match minute, ⚽Babaciunile ⚽ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Romeo to maneuver through the defense. Liviu Boboc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigore Prunaru in the 43rd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Catalu's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Boieraș came free, but Liviu Boboc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dan Boieraș to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, ⚽Babaciunile ⚽'s Sever Romaşcanu got a free kick in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the game, one of Catalu:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 54 minutes, ⚽Babaciunile ⚽'s Tiberiu Jienescu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Liviu Boboc. Liviu Boboc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiberiu Jienescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Tiberiu Jienescu scored 0-5 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Liviu Boboc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tiberiu Jienescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aristide Eftimiu made in the 75th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dorin Cristian however managed to control. In the 81st minute, Ilie Ivăncioiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Dan Boieraș could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Liviu Boboc however easily saved by the left post. Dan Boieraș was extremely unlucky when he, in the 89th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Liviu Boboc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Boieraș in the 92nd minute. ⚽Babaciunile ⚽'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
