The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorin Cristian got free with Edgar Magheru in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doru Bărbat in the 31st minute of play forced Catalu's goalkeeper Liviu Boboc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liviu Boboc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doru Bărbat, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Liviu Boboc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doru Bărbat in the 36th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiberiu Valeca was the one to do the kick off. Catalu's Costin Fundătoreanu got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Catalu's zone, Silviu Calota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Liviu Boboc came out of the goal and Silviu Calota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inucu CS's Edgar Magheru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Valeca in the 61st minute of play. After 62 minutes, Moise Lupoaia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inucu CS and the Catalu players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Inucu CS's Moise Lupoaia got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Costin Fundătoreanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute Tiberiu Valeca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Magheru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored Catalu's protests and gave Constantin Dobrin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Inucu CS booed when Catalu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantin Dobrin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mihăiţă Mugur kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. A collision led to Catalu getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Constantin Dobrin hit a great ball. After 78 played minutes, Inucu CS's Dorin Şoltuz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Liviu Boboc came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Inucu CS reached it. In the 81st minute, Inucu CS's Doru Bărbat dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Liviu Boboc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valer Gherasescu went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Eusebiu Cezar took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Liviu Boboc. Liviu Boboc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Costin Fundătoreanu's late challenge caught a Inucu CS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Costin Fundătoreanu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Catalu's Costin Fundătoreanu got a free kick in the 91st minute. The Inucu CS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
