Spectators: 6831 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rafa Correia started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Edgar Tudorache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florin Buciuman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicu Enachescu came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Bradicesti's Rafa Correia. But to his dismay, Rafa Correia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Rafa Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bradicesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafa Correia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicu Enachescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Rafa Correia sped through Vulturii Lipova's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nicu Enachescu. When Florin Buciuman came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Vulturii Lipova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florin Buciuman couldn't finish the play. Cezar Cămătaru might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicu Enachescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cezar Cămătaru ran back to his position shaking his head. If Olimpiu Curea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Bodea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicu Enachescu having to make a save. If Sever Basarabescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Bradicesti's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Florin Buciuman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

In the 54th minute, Cezar Cămătaru made a precise shot to the right of Nicu Enachescu. Vulturii Lipova's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 56th match minute, Bradicesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olimpiu Curea to maneuver through the defense. Nicu Enachescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafa Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florin Buciuman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Pantiș read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After 62 minutes, Radek Dejmek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bradicesti and the Vulturii Lipova players grew even worse after the yellow card. 62 minutes into the game, one of Bradicesti:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Nicu Enachescu came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Bradicesti's Rafa Correia. But to his dismay, Rafa Correia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 73rd minute, Nicolae Iosub left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vulturii Lipova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Nicolae Iosub recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florin Buciuman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the game, Sever Basarabescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vulturii Lipova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bradicesti the free kick. After 84 played minutes Vulturii Lipova got a freekick which was hit by Sever Basarabescu. If Cezar Cămătaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Bodea hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Radek Dejmek was shown his second yellow card after 91 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of Bradicesti:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vulturii Lipova:s goal. In the 94th minute Florin Buciuman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Pantiș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th match minute, Bradicesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicu Siadbei to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Florin Buciuman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Pantiș was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. Florin Buciuman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 101st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Pantiș having to interfere.
