In the 5th match minute, Draghia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valer Mereacre to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Gigel Olteanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Draghia's supporters rose to their feet, but Gigel Olteanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remus Prodan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gigel Olteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gigel Olteanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Prodan having to interfere. If Leonard Pârlog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisc Bântu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basarab Drăgoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Aristide Conta came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Draghia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristide Conta couldn't finish the play. In the 44thth minute of the game Costel Petriceanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC RamonRaul's Remus Prodan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Draghia's Gigel Olteanu got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gigel Olteanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Prodan having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Nicolae to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC RamonRaul's goalkeeper Remus Prodan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Costel Petriceanu had several of the FC RamonRaul's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 56 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Remus Prodan as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 66th minute, Costel Petriceanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remus Prodan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Gigel Olteanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gigel Olteanu struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Remus Prodan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Draghia. Mugurel Vasilian was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 76 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of FC RamonRaul:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Draghia:s goal. In the 85th minute, Costel Petriceanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Remus Prodan. The goal made the score 0-5. Basarab Drăgoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th match minute, Draghia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nistor Mocanu to maneuver through the defense. When Aristide Conta came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Draghia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristide Conta couldn't finish the play. Costel Petriceanu took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Remus Prodan. Remus Prodan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. The FC RamonRaul fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Draghia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
