Gabriel Stoicănescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florin Buciuman in the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Vintilă Hălmăgeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Enachescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabin Baldovinescu kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Vintilă Hălmăgeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. ⚽Babaciunile ⚽'s supporters rose to their feet, but Vintilă Hălmăgeanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicu Enachescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the game, one of Vulturii Lipova:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 27th minute there was a penalty for ⚽Babaciunile ⚽. Arvin Östman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nicu Enachescu. 0-1. In the 30th minute, Emilian Ignat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Stoicănescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florin Buciuman in the 36th minute of the match. Dacian Ispas's late challenge caught a Vulturii Lipova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dacian Ispas helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in ⚽Babaciunile ⚽ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! Vintilă Hălmăgeanu scored 0-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicu Enachescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remus Vişoiu to strike the kick off in the second half. If Vintilă Hălmăgeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, Vulturii Lipova's goal looked a bit too open when Vintilă Hălmăgeanu came free, but Nicu Enachescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicu Enachescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vintilă Hălmăgeanu in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute, ⚽Babaciunile ⚽'s Vintilă Hălmăgeanu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nicu Enachescu. Nicu Enachescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. After 64 minutes, Cristi Măgherușan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vulturii Lipova and the ⚽Babaciunile ⚽ players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Vulturii Lipova's Nicu Enachescu got control of the ball when Remus Vişoiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remus Vişoiu got free with Nicu Enachescu in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicu Enachescu was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Remus Vişoiu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Remus Vişoiu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Florin Buciuman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Stoicănescu having to interfere. Sabin Baldovinescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gabriel Stoicănescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florin Buciuman in the 76th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Vulturii Lipova's goalkeeper Nicu Enachescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remus Vişoiu. Gabriel Stoicănescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabin Baldovinescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dacian Ispas was shown his second yellow card after 83 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 83rd minute, one of ⚽Babaciunile ⚽:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ⚽Babaciunile ⚽. A hard shot 91 in the game by Remus Vişoiu from a close distance when the talented Nicu Enachescu managed to make a qualified save. Vulturii Lipova's players were relieved. Iordache Miclea made in the 97th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Remus Vişoiu however managed to control. The ⚽Babaciunile ⚽ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ⚽Babaciunile ⚽ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
