Spectators: 7364 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 100) After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Valeriu Jităreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ochiuri AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valeriu Jităreanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornel Hațegan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Silviu Slavici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nae Săvoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Nacu in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Sabin Dan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute of the match Matei Bute shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nae Săvoiu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Petelea's goal looked a bit too open when Horia Popa came free, but Cornel Hațegan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horia Popa in the 18th minute of play forced Petelea's goalkeeper Cornel Hațegan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ochiuri AC's Gavril Oniga got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 27 minutes into the match, Ochiuri AC's goal looked a bit too open when Traian Mitică came free, but Nae Săvoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudiu Nacu in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nae Săvoiu saved Ochiuri AC from getting behind. After 33 minutes, Valeriu Jităreanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ochiuri AC and the Petelea players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Ochiuri AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriu Jităreanu to maneuver through the defense. Petelea's Cornel Hațegan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavril Oniga in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Sabin Dan notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Petelea's Cornel Hațegan. Cornel Hațegan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ion Caramitru charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Nechifor Urdeş charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nechifor Urdeş the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nechifor Urdeş hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When Gavril Oniga came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Ochiuri AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavril Oniga couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute, Horia Popa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Petelea's Cornel Hațegan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Petelea from getting a goal against them. Gavril Oniga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nae Săvoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Nacu in the 66th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gavril Oniga got free with Cornel Hațegan in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cornel Hațegan made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Gavril Oniga sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denis Rucăreanu during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Ochiuri AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Rucăreanu to maneuver through the defense. Silviu Slavici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nae Săvoiu having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Ochiuri AC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Petelea.
