After a defensive mix-up in FC National's zone, Efrain Joseph stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. George Stejaru came out of the goal and Efrain Joseph tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavius Săndoi in the 6th minute of play forced FC National's goalkeeper George Stejaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dinamo Triaj's Efrain Joseph in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC National's goalie prevented a goal. George Stejaru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Efrain Joseph's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Efrain Joseph charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efrain Joseph the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Dinamo Triaj's Efrain Joseph got a free kick in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Avram Săliştean had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of George Stejaru. FC National's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Avram Săliştean was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Maksymilian Zawaski hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Flavius Săndoi made a precise shot to the right of George Stejaru. FC National's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Avram Săliştean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. George Stejaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC National booed when Dinamo Triaj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavius Săndoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. George Stejaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavius Săndoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionică Antohi in the 35th minute of play forced FC National's goalkeeper George Stejaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Joseph received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. George Stejaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Avram Săliştean made a precise shot to the right of George Stejaru. FC National's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Leontin Pintilescu hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Efrain Joseph, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 46 played minutes FC National got a freekick which was hit by Octav Basarabescu. In the 47th minute Avram Săliştean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Stejaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eusebiu Păstrăv made a kick off. George Stejaru came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Dinamo Triaj's Efrain Joseph. But to his dismay, Efrain Joseph quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 55 minutes into the game, Efrain Joseph cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. George Stejaru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maksymilian Zawaski kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. FC National's George Stejaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save FC National from getting a goal against them. 76 minutes into the match, FC National's goal looked a bit too open when Avram Săliştean came free, but George Stejaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77th play minutes Efrain Joseph shot 0-6, a short shot which went by George Stejaru and just under the crossbar into goal. 83 minutes into the match, Avram Săliştean dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of George Stejaru, 0-7. George Stejaru made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Efrain Joseph sent off a good shot on target. Efrain Joseph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Stejaru having to interfere. Niculae Isvoreanu hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Efrain Joseph dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of George Stejaru, 0-8. The FC National fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dinamo Triaj were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
