The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viorel Dancu was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes FC Micsunia got a freekick which was hit by Yader Patiño. 56 minutes into the match, FC Micsunia's Viorel Dancu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mugur Zărnescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mugur Zărnescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narcis Fundătoreanu in the 58th minute of play. Nistor Brătescu struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Dan Jupân didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ASU Poli Timisoara. In the 62nd match minute, FC Micsunia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihail Ionescu to maneuver through the defense. FC Micsunia's Dan Jupân played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nistor Brătescu in the 77th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Iacob Turdeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to ASU Poli Timisoara getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Codrin Magherescu hit a great ball. Mugur Zărnescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viorel Dancu's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Viorel Dancus short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Mugur Zărnescu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Despite being the better team, FC Micsunia failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
