FC Micsunia's Dan Jupân played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilie Tăutu in the 7th minute of play. When Manole Ghiță came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the AFC Ivanda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manole Ghiță couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Micsunia's zone, Ilie Tăutu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Jupân came out of the goal and Ilie Tăutu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manole Ghiță scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dan Jupân, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to AFC Ivanda getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Cornel Mirciulescu hit a great ball. Ionuț Bulencea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viorel Dancu, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC Ivanda's goalkeeper Ionuț Bulencea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ionuț Bulencea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viorel Dancu's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute Narcis Fundătoreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionuț Bulencea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Viorel Dancu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ionuț Bulencea was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. FC Micsunia's Gabriel Pacuraru got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34thth minute of the game Viorel Dancu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Ivanda's Ionuț Bulencea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Gabriel Pacuraru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilie Tăutu charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ilie Tăutu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Viorel Dancu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gabriel Pacuraru came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the FC Micsunia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Pacuraru couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manole Ghiță made a kick off. Ionuț Bulencea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viorel Dancu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yader Patiño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ionuț Bulencea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, FC Micsunia's Viorel Dancu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ionuț Bulencea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Micsunia's Yader Patiño got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute Ilie Tăutu suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 59 minutes into the game, Laurențiu Brașoveanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Micsunia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC Ivanda the free kick. After 62 minutes, Ionică Dobrotă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC Ivanda and the FC Micsunia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Micsunia booed when AFC Ivanda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionică Dobrotă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mugur Corduneanu kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Yader Patiño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionuț Bulencea having to interfere. In the 73rdth minute of the game Viorel Dancu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Ivanda's Ionuț Bulencea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viorel Dancu in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ionuț Bulencea saved AFC Ivanda from getting behind. Viorel Dancu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ionuț Bulencea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mugur Junilă fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC Ivanda's protests and gave Mugur Junilă a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Micsunia booed when AFC Ivanda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugur Junilă didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Yader Patiño had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ionuț Bulencea. AFC Ivanda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yader Patiño was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a rather tough play, AFC Ivanda's Cornel Mirciulescu got a free kick in the 89th minute. FC Micsunia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
