Alex Trifănucă didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albert Plopșor went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Alex Trifănucă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Tomulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Alex Trifănucă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Tomulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Albert Plopșor fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VYCTORIA BV's protests and gave Albert Plopșor a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to VYCTORIA BV getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Albert Plopșor hit a great ball. Filip Negrilă took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Trifănucă. Alex Trifănucă dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Alex Trifănucă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Plopșor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of VYCTORIA BV booed when Hope AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigel Pânzaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th match minute, Hope AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Fenici to maneuver through the defense. Hope AFC's Alex Trifănucă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihnea Plăcintă in the 42nd minute of play. If Mihnea Plăcintă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 53 minutes, Adrian Tomulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VYCTORIA BV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Tomulescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Șerban Plop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Hope AFC's Gigel Pânzaru got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 67th minute Adrian Tomulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Trifănucă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, VYCTORIA BV's goal looked a bit too open when Șerban Plop came free, but Lucian Voica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
