Spectators: 7688 (Terracing: 5767, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vali Lucan got the match started through his kick off. When Marius Chirilă fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karakoium's protests and gave Marius Chirilă a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd match minute, Karakoium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marius Chirilă to maneuver through the defense. Manole Oțeteleșanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dinu Buznea. Karakoium's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 9th minute Costin Braica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Buznea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costin Braica in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dinu Buznea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aurelian Focșa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dinu Buznea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Karakoium getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Vali Lucan hit a great ball. Emanuel Drâmbă was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Vali Lucan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vali Lucan really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. With a little luck, Caraseu's Emanuel Drâmbă got control of the ball when Filip Isopescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emanuel Drâmbă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vali Lucan in the 37th minute of the match. If Costin Braica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karakoium's Dinu Buznea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelian Focșa in the 40th minute of play. When Filip Isopescu fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karakoium's protests and gave Filip Isopescu a yellow card for diving instead. After 44 played minutes Caraseu got a freekick which was hit by Radu Tonegaru. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 53rd minute, Mugur Godeanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vali Lucan hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Aurelian Focșa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 60 minutes, Aurelian Focșa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caraseu and the Karakoium players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Aurelian Focșa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Mugur Godeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caraseu's supporters rose to their feet, but Mugur Godeanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dinu Buznea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Karakoium getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Fabian Baldu hit a great ball. Emanuel Drâmbă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Goma in the 71st minute of the match. Dinu Buznea was a little too slow when Aurelian Focșa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 2-1. Caraseu's Aurelian Focșa got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 78 played minutes Mugur Godeanu could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 2-2 into the left cross. Aurelian Focșa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Caraseu's Manole Oțeteleșanu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Karakoium's zone, Aurelian Focșa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dinu Buznea came out of the goal and Aurelian Focșa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabian Baldu got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 89 played minutes Karakoium got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Baldu. When Caraseu's Aurelian Focșa in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Karakoium's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Caraseu players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
