If Nechifor Bitanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the F.C. Ripensia Timişoara defense, Constantin Bărnuțiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabian Demian. The F.C. Ripensia Timişoara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabian Demian should have stopped the shot. The supporters of F.C. Ripensia Timişoara booed when Bulgaru AS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Aluculesei didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 minutes of play, Bulgaru AS's Leontin Zubaşcu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabian Demian was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leontin Zubaşcu struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Fabian Demian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bulgaru AS. 24 minutes into the match, Bulgaru AS's goal looked a bit too open when Dorin Brănescu came free, but Tiberiu Tudose reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Mugur Uncheşelu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Tudose saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bulgaru AS's Manuel Aluculesei got his second yellow card of the match in the 26th minute. The referee ordered Manuel Aluculesei off the ground. In the 27th match minute, Bulgaru AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Aluculesei to maneuver through the defense. If Constantin Bărnuțiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Demian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nechifor Bitanu in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Constantin Bărnuțiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Demian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 minutes, Mugur Uncheşelu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. Ripensia Timişoara and the Bulgaru AS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th minute, Mugur Uncheşelu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Marchidan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavel Măguran in the 43rd minute of play forced F.C. Ripensia Timişoara's goalkeeper Fabian Demian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bulgaru AS's Constantin Bărnuțiu got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Nechifor Bitanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabian Demian. F.C. Ripensia Timişoara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nechifor Bitanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The F.C. Ripensia Timişoara players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bulgaru AS were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Constantin Bărnuțiu to make the kick off. Nechifor Bitanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Demian having to interfere. Tiberiu Tudose showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorin Brănescu in the 54th minute of the match. After 55 minutes of play, F.C. Ripensia Timişoara's Mugur Uncheşelu made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiberiu Tudose was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tiberiu Tudose showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Mailat in the 59th minute of the match. After 63 played minutes F.C. Ripensia Timişoara got a freekick which was hit by Denis Mailat. Leontin Zubaşcu scored 1-4 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabian Demian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st match minute, F.C. Ripensia Timişoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorin Brănescu to maneuver through the defense. Fabian Demian made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Leontin Zubaşcu sent off a good shot on target. Ioan Bădoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabian Demian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ioan Bădoi ran back to his position shaking his head. F.C. Ripensia Timişoara's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Constantin Bărnuțiu scored to the left of an out of position Fabian Demian, making the score, 1-5. If Nechifor Bitanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Demian made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Nechifor Bitanu sent off a good shot on target. 82 minutes into the match, Pavel Măguran notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of F.C. Ripensia Timişoara's Fabian Demian. Fabian Demian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fabian Demian came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bulgaru AS's Nechifor Bitanu. But to his dismay, Nechifor Bitanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. Bulgaru AS played a much better game than F.C. Ripensia Timişoara and deserved their victory. The F.C. Ripensia Timişoara players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
