Spectators: 7838 (Terracing: 5880, Seating: 1802, VIP seats: 156) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Valeriu Anastasiu got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Mateescu in the 5th minute of play forced Manchester City's goalkeeper Nicodim Grecu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kylian Mbappè took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ionel Hurezeanu. Ionel Hurezeanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 12th minute of the match, Ivan Dragnea got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nicodim Grecu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costel Mateescu in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicodim Grecu saved Manchester City from getting behind. Matei Gorun hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Costel Mateescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 31 in the game by Ivan Dragnea from a close distance when the talented Nicodim Grecu managed to make a qualified save. Manchester City's players were relieved. Nicodim Grecu made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Costel Mateescu sent off a good shot on target. Nicodim Grecu was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Costel Mateescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Costel Mateescu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Ionel Hurezeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valeriu Anastasiu in the 38th minute of play. When Costel Mateescu came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the YR☆ FCSB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costel Mateescu couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Costel Mateescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kylian Mbappè got free with Ionel Hurezeanu in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivan Dragnea might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicodim Grecu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivan Dragnea ran back to his position shaking his head. 59 minutes into the match, Manchester City's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Dragnea came free, but Nicodim Grecu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. YR☆ FCSB's Emanuel Maghiran got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicodim Grecu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Dragnea in the 65th minute of the match. Costel Mateescu struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Nicodim Grecu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for YR☆ FCSB. Ovidiu Cernat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicodim Grecu having to interfere. Nicodim Grecu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Costel Mateescu went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Nicodim Grecu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Mateescu in the 81st minute of play. Ionel Hurezeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valeriu Anastasiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. YR☆ FCSB's Emanuel Maghiran got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sámuel Szűrös fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicodim Grecu having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. YR☆ FCSB fully deserved thier win.
