A collision led to RTP 2021 getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Dorin Martinescu hit a great ball. In the 13th match minute, FC Tumpika was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Gâlcă to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, RTP 2021's goal looked a bit too open when Flavius Ivasiuc came free, but Boruc Pawlak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Tumpika's Sergiu Tătăruşanu got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of FC Tumpika booed when RTP 2021 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gică Culcer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Damian Gâlcă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, FC Tumpika's Flavius Ivasiuc sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boruc Pawlak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Boruc Pawlak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergiu Tătăruşanu in the 38th minute of play. In the 39thth minute of the game Flavius Ivasiuc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RTP 2021's Boruc Pawlak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 41st minute Flavius Ivasiuc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boruc Pawlak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Șerban Stoicea kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half FC Tumpika were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Thanks to some nice moves Flavius Ivasiuc could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Boruc Pawlak however easily saved by the left post. Flavius Ivasiuc struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Boruc Pawlak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Tumpika. In the 58th minute, Sergiu Tătăruşanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Tumpika fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Boruc Pawlak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergiu Tătăruşanu in the 62nd minute of play. After 64 minutes, Basarab Călinescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RTP 2021 and the FC Tumpika players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Tumpika booed when RTP 2021 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Oniga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute of the match Damian Gâlcă shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Boruc Pawlak showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Tumpika's zone, Dorin Martinescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olimpiu Iftode came out of the goal and Dorin Martinescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eusebiu Spânu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Olimpiu Iftode tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Damian Gâlcă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Dan Dragnea managed to get in a good position for a shot. RTP 2021's supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Dragnea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olimpiu Iftode breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damian Gâlcă kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Basarab Călinescu hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the FC Tumpika defense, Dan Dragnea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olimpiu Iftode. The FC Tumpika fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olimpiu Iftode should have stopped the shot. Flavius Ivasiuc's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Boruc Pawlak skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Flavius Ivasiuc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
