Ion Popoacă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marin Țepeluș having to interfere. If Sever Iorgovan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC Pirciu's Radu Afloarei got a free kick in the 6th minute. Theo Wagner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigi Morozan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marin Țepeluș made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Iustin Păsărin sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute, Ion Popoacă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ion Popoacă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marin Țepeluș read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 21st minute, Gigel Mihele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gigel Mihele was shown his second yellow card after 23 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Vezuri AFC's Gigel Mihele got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 28 minutes, Radu Afloarei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Pirciu and the Vezuri AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute, FC Pirciu's Sever Iorgovan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 36th minute, Vezuri AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vintilă Zegreanu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 42nd minute, Gigi Morozan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vintilă Zegreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ion Popoacă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Marin Țepeluș made a huge save. Marin Țepeluș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vintilă Zegreanu in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when George Mihăescu made the kick off in the second half. Theo Wagner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gigi Morozan went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 61stth minute of the game Vintilă Zegreanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vezuri AFC's Marin Țepeluș was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Theo Wagner made an important save on a dangerous shot by George Mihăescu in the 63rd minute. Vintilă Zegreanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Vezuri AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Vali Bobariu came free, but Marin Țepeluș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sever Iorgovan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marin Țepeluș having to interfere. One of FC Pirciu:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vezuri AFC:s goal. Lucian Cimpoieru shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 84th match minute, FC Pirciu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabin Hâncu to maneuver through the defense. After 87 played minutes FC Pirciu got a freekick which was hit by Vintilă Zegreanu. Sabin Hâncu's late challenge caught a Vezuri AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sabin Hâncu helped the player get up and apologised. Sabin Hâncu hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When Iustin Păsărin came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the FC Pirciu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iustin Păsărin couldn't finish the play. Marin Țepeluș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ion Popoacă in the 96th minute of play. FC Pirciu were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Vezuri AFC to leave the ground with a draw.
