The supporters of Academia M.Balan booed when -PSC- Borea AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nichifor Ţirpescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Academia M.Balan's Francisc Casian got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. -PSC- Borea AFC's Valer Ciolofan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisc Casian in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Horaţiu Trif made a precise shot to the right of Valer Ciolofan. -PSC- Borea AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. That made the score 5-0 after 31 minutes of play. 44 minutes into the match, -PSC- Borea AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisc Casian came free, but Valer Ciolofan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisc Casian in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valer Ciolofan saved -PSC- Borea AFC from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damian Ţîrlea to make the kick off. Valer Ciolofan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horaţiu Trif in the 51st minute of the match.
